Our change work is ground in behavioural science. We are focussed on systems such as child support that need reform to enable single mothers to thrive. We create advocacy and change so single mothers and their children have their needs and rights met.
Meet Our Team
Hayley Vella, Founder
Hi, I'm Hayley. Single mum of one! I crave connecting in real, authentic conversations with other mums about our experiences of motherhood. To share our stories, triumphs and tears, and to know "I am not alone". I've also experienced the challenging systems single mothers navigate and know they need to change.
I created Inspired Impact to empower all mothers on their motherhood journey. To raise our voices so that we can be seen and heard in connection and shared experience. I'm incredibly passionate about creating programs and spaces for empowerment, growth and collective inspiration. And opportunities for mothers to advocate for change.
The experience I bring to Inspired Impact is diverse. I work across diversity and inclusion, leadership development and learning. I'm an experienced coach, having led group programs focussed on resilience and change. I'm also an advocate. I played a key role in a campaign to end the sale of elephant ivory and rhino horn in Australia, including presenting at a parliamentary inquiry.
I hold a Masters degree in policy and political communication, a Graduate Certificate in Change Management, Bachelors of Commerce and Arts (human resources and journalism) and a credential in behavioural science.
Stacey Woods
I'm Stacey and I'm proud to have been raised by a single mum. I've witnessed some of the challenges solo mums go through such as court and understand the impacts on mothers and their children. I wish my mother had an avenue to connect with others and it's great that Inspired Impact now provides that. I have a heartfelt desire to help and know my background as a coach can assist!
Throughout my career I have been an advocate for stakeholders that wouldn't necessarily have a voice, or felt like they didn't. And providing that support has been a rewarding experience. One that I wish to continue through this organisation.
I hold a Master of Law, a Master of Business Administration (Behavioural Change) and a Bachelor of Business (Management). I also have executive development certifications in Change Management and Digital Transformation.
